A Constructive Celebration

Wake Forest celebrates at the building site for the new McCreary Football Complex, next door to the McCreary Football Field House on its Reynolda Campus. Bob McCreary ('61) joins director of athletics John Currie and head coach Dave Clawson at the podium.

Breaking Ground

President Susan R. Wente, Ph.D. joins Bob and Michele McCreary, Alan Fox, Prentiss and Joan Baker, Carl and Linda Tucker, Coach Dave Clawson, quarterback Sam Hartman, and AD John Currie for the ceremonial groundbreaking in front of the work site. Dr. Wente offered a toast afterward.

Recognition and Thanks

Bob and Michele McCreary were recognized during the Deacs men's basketball game on Saturday afternoon after the groundbreaking, while Executive Senior Associate AD Barry Faircloth offered a toast during halftime in the Moricle Society room.
