After graduation from Wake Forest in 2023, Alice Hauser will study in the fall at England's Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar. But this spring, she shared a behind-the-scenes look at her life on campus.
A philosophy and piano performance double major, she is as much at home in Tribble Hall as she is in Scales Fine Arts Center. Outside of concert halls and classes, she competes on an Ultimate Frisbee team and works with Wake Forest’s Student Association for the Advancement of Refugees to help those who have crossed international borders to find safety in the Winston-Salem community.
Campus is a home away from home for the Hauser siblings. Alice, a Stamps Scholar, came to Wake Forest with her brother (and triplet) Brandon Hauser ('23), a Carswell Scholar, and later their sister Mary Hauser ('26), a Reynolds Scholar, joined them.

Alice is the captain of the Women’s Club Ultimate Frisbee Team, Ruckus (Raging Unleashed Chicks Kicking Ultimate Sass). Club Coach Mariamme Burgess leads the team practices twice a week on Poteat Field.
Alice heads to professor Win-Chiat Lee’s philosophy seminar in Tribble Hall focused on John Rawls’s book, “A Theory of Justice.”
